Erin on Building Your Equation
(Step 2)

Episode 5

On this Episode of Fulfillment Equation

Are you curious to start your own fulfillment equation practice to help you maximize the joy in daily living?  This episode outlines Step 2 of the process (Building Your Equation), giving you tools, tips and examples to transform your word cloud into your own unique equation.

On episodes with guests, we do a quick-and-dirty version of this for interest. However, it’s focused on how they are living now and it’s at an average weekly level. The power of the equation is in building in some desire for change and then setting up a daily practice of intention setting and reflection. This guide will help you thoughtfully design for the future, while at the same time accommodating for the realities of the present. By the end, you will have constructed an equation for each day of the week. The sum of these equations totals your equation for the week. The power then becomes in the practice. When we design and live each day to the fullest, over time that accumulates into living each week to the fullest and each year to the fullest. We can get there by just focusing on the present. It starts by building your equation and in the next step we’ll dive into how to put that equation into practice.

(Note: Listeners will want to check out Step 1 (Brainstorming and Organizing Your Word Cloud) before listening to this episode).

“Using an equation allows us to adopt the mindset of a scientist, bring concrete objectivity to our reflection and get the proportions right in the recipe to maximize joy in daily living.”
