Omar Khan on Pursuing Financial Independence

Episode 11

On this Episode of Fulfillment Equation

While money isn’t everything, there is certainly a component of finding freedom that involves financial independence. In this week’s podcast, I am talking to Omar Khan, a leader in the financial services industry and co-owner of Theta Trading, a financial education company. As Omar says of financial independence: “It’s about putting yourself in a position to be able to own your own time and do what you want to do”. In our conversation we touch on the topics of financial literacy, how buying stuff doesn’t buy fulfillment, and the relationship between discipline and regret. Omar also gives practical tips and tricks on increasing your revenue and on teaching your kids financial literacy to prepare them for adulthood.

Finally, together we build Omar’s equation: 10W + 2g + 2k

“You have two choices – you can eat the seeds now or you can plant the seeds and eat from the orchard for the rest of your life.”

– Omar Khan
