Episode 14 (Part 1)
On this Episode of Fulfillment Equation
This is Part 1 of the incredible conversation I have with one of my long-time mentors and friends, Mark Walton. Mark’s wisdom and leadership never cease to amaze me and, as usual, he’s left me with lots to think about! Together we dive into topics like how to stay grounded during times of uncertainty, and the inextricable relationship between purpose, contribution and identity. Mark describes what authentic leadership looks like and how it builds trust. He also advocates for surrounding yourself with people who are smarter and different from you. As he says, “(Life) is a team sport and you have to be master of understanding your strengths, other people’s strengths and rallying those together around a common purpose”. Mark also helps me consider how our accumulation of experiences coupled with trusting our intuition can build confidence.
Lots more to come in Part 2, including building Mark’s unique equation.
“Intuition plus experience together generate confidence.”
– Mark Walton
